A Brisbane CBD dentist committed to superior service and quality dentistry
When it comes to choosing a Brisbane dentist, there is no shortage in the Brisbane CBD. The problem you can face however, is finding one that is committed to providing patients with outstanding care and service. A dental practice that is built on quality and makes sure that the patient – you – comes first. A CBD dental practice that remembers your name and allows adequate time for your appointment, rather than rushing you through to move on to the next patient.
A Brisbane CBD dentist you can trust
Our family-focused approach is unique in the Brisbane CBD. As city office buildings often restrict opening hours CBD dentists can often rush and shorten appointments to see more patients throughout the day. At Bite Dental Studios Brisbane, our dentist and team put your needs first and are committed to always providing the best quality care—if that takes more time to make you comfortable, so be it!
You can count on the dentist and team at Bite Dental Studios Brisbane to provide you with the personalised care you require and deserve. For Quality, Comprehensive Dental Care in the heart of the Brisbane CBD – Sink your teeth into Bite Dental Studio.
A Brisbane city dentist who doesn’t treat you like a number
Our family-focused approach ensures you’re treated like a friend, not a number. We remember the little things—like you require extra care and time so that you feel relaxed while having your teeth cleaned. We understand that you have a busy work schedule and need us to be on time – every time. We know that you often arrive early and enjoy a cup of tea and biscuit before your appointment!
At Bite Dental Studio Brisbane we pay close attention not only to your teeth but also to your comfort. And as we treat our friends—we don’t rush appointments or provide second rate dentistry.
If you live or work in Brisbane city and are looking for a dentist whose practice is not only convenient but also committed to providing patients with unparalleled quality dental care and service, contact Bite Dental Studios on 07 3221 5399 to book your appointment or to learn more about our services.

Dr Simon Franks
BSc (Hons), BDS (Hons), MClinDent (Dist) Prosthodontics, FRACDS, AKC
A Kiwi by birth, Simon is arguably one of Australia’s most qualified general dentists. He has honors degrees in Dentistry, Neuroscience and Human Anatomy and a Masters of Clinical dentistry awarded with distinction from King’s College London. He has been elected as an Associate of King’s College London and is a fellow of the prestigious Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons serving on the Queensland Regional Committee as a candidate advisor. He is also a postgraduate tutor for the Prosthodontics program at King’s College London.
Whilst he has completed specialist training in prosthodontics (including dental aesthetics, veneers, crowns, bridges and implants), Simon maintains registration as a general dentist.
This education has developed a strong preventive approach to dentistry. Simon ensures he takes time with every patient to understand each aspect of a patient’s dental health and lifestyle, before deciding on the best course of treatment. He has found over time that it’s the quality of the relationship between dentist and patient that results in the best outcomes.
Simon regularly speaks for Diabetes Australia and also helps diabetes educators promote the links between diabetic control and oral health. He also has an interest in how poor oral health can exacerbate cardiovascular disease.
As a member of the Allied Health Network he has direct access to many other therapies to improve patient care, including physiotherapy, acupuncture, massage and chiropractic care.
For over a decade he has supported the East Meets West Foundation, regularly volunteering his time providing dental care for orphaned children in Vietnam.
Simon also has a young family, and understands well how dentistry needs grow and change with a family.

Assoc. Dip in Dental Therapy
Ingrid completed her Associate Diploma in Dental Therapy 25 years ago, on the West Coast of Australia. Apart from the skills she acquired as a dental therapist/hygienist over the past two decades, she considers herself fortunate to have a broad range of experience in dentistry, including working alongside a forensic dentist for four years as well as in-hospital theatres with an oral surgeon. Ingrid is passionate about people and oral health, and her thirst for knowledge on preventive dentistry is unwavering.
Ingrid is a driven advocate on the importance of education on the links between oral health and general well-being. With scientific data arising daily on the connection between gum disease and other chronic diseases like diabetes, heart disease, arthritis and respiratory disorders, her message is quite simple, “ Education is key for the prevention of oral disease. In dentistry, education on oral hygiene and oral health not only equips people with knowledge; it also empowers them to make better choices for themselves. This is very rewarding for me as I get to see firsthand the transformation in people’s mouths and therefore their lives.”
Ingrid is a social entrepreneur on a global mission to help people retain their teeth for life. When not in the clinic, you will find her with her scientific team advancing the development of cutting-edge products for the prevention of gum disease; sitting on judging panels with MBA students; at parliament roundtables discussing women founders in business or travelling the world keeping up to date with the latest advancements in dentistry.
Ingrid is actively involved with the Allied Health Network; and is a member of the Dental Hygienist Association of Australia as well as Life Science Queensland.
