Francesca Verrone

Francesca (Frankie) is an AHPRA-registered dental hygienist. She graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 2019 with a degree in Dental Hygiene. Prior to that, she earned a bachelor’s degree in Family and Child Studies at Montclair State University. During her studies at NYU, Francesca presented a research project for the College of Dentistry regarding the elimination of single-use plastics in dentistry. She is happy to see the difference in the use of these materials in Australia and hopeful to see this continue to improve.

Since joining the profession, Francesca has enjoyed the new improvements in technology that can help with patient education and treatment. She is eager to grow as a provider with the new findings linking dental health with general health. Francesca enjoys treating all patients. She has special interests in treating patients with periodontal disease and working in collaboration with patients to rebuild their oral hygiene, systemic health, and overall confidence.

Outside of work, Francesca enjoys regular visits back to the US to see family and friends. Francesca was formerly a collegiate Women’s Lacrosse All-American and she enjoys staying active by attending group fitness classes, hiking, and swimming at the beach.
