Why pick Bite Dental for your veneers?
In-house lab so no two-week wait
We’re gentle & caring dentists
We have an in-house lab
One of the biggest fears around getting dental veneers is the interim. That two-week period where your teeth will look their worst and don’t worry, we certainly get it. At Bite Dental, we have our own in-house lab to create your veneers. It means your two-week interim is shortened to just a day or so. We’ll also fit temporary veneers at this time. It means you can remain confident in your smile.
We get your veneers placed sooner
Like we said, our in-house lab gives us the ability to get your veneers placed quickly. We understand how daunting the process can be and how busy our clients are. So, we schedule appointments so that you can have your veneers placed sooner, leaving you able to get back to your busy life sooner (and with a stunning smile).
We’re gentle & caring dentists
Dentists get a bad rap. We know our industry has a reputation for pain and for being a bit of a scary place to visit. Our cosmetic dentists hate this. We’re leading change from the front, offering gentle and pain-free dental treatments where your comfort is our first priority. You’ll notice the difference in our gentle touch and our genuine care for you.
Our clinic is warm & welcoming
Dentist clinics can be so… clinical. We want you to want to visit us. Our clinic is warm and inviting and we’ve ditched the clinical white and the bright lights in our waiting room. You’ll be welcomed into our modern studio by our friendly team and receive second to none support from your dentist.
We love the benefits veneers provide.
Straighten your teeth
Veneers are a quicker way to straighten your teeth. Avoid the hassle and pain of traditional braces or Invisalign and straighten your teeth with dental veneers.
Close gaps in your smile
On occasion, there can be gaps between your teeth, angled teeth, or chipped and cracked teeth. We can fill in these gaps for a fuller set of teeth and a stunning smile.
Live with confidently white teeth
Veneers typically stay white for longer. Porcelain veneers especially, are less porous and less vulnerable to staining or yellowing, going further to show why veneers are such a worthwhile investment for both your teeth and your confidence.
Conceal chips and cracks
If you’ve ever experienced chips or cracks in your teeth, you’ll know firsthand how this can affect your confidence. Veneers, both porcelain and composite, can conceal these and give you a smile that you’ll want to show off.
Protect your teeth from stains and discolouration
Dental veneers provide a protective layer between your tooth’s enamel and the outside world. These are less porous, protecting your teeth from stains and discolouration.
Improve our smile quickly and easily
Dental veneers are a relatively quick and easy way to fill in gaps, perfect your teeth and improver your smile.
Porcelain Veneers
Porcelain veneers are made from a porcelain material and bonded to your teeth. These veneers are completed over the course of two appointments and call for temporary veneers while your porcelain veneers are created in the lab. We love porcelain veneers for their longevity — they last up to 10 years and are more stain-resistant than their composite counterparts.
Composite Veneers
Composite veneers are made from composite resin and are applied to your teeth in just one appointment. These veneers are fairly similar to a dental filling. Composite veneers are more affordable than their porcelain counterparts but offer less longevity. It depends on how well you maintain them but they have a typical lifespan of five to 7 years.
We know, it’s a big change. Here are some of our Frequently Asked Questions.
No, we do everything we can to offer you a pain-free process and it helps that the veneer application process isn’t a painful one. At the very worst, you may experience some discomfort during the shaping process if you opt for porcelain veneers.
Recovery from your veneer procedure will be simple. It will, of course, take you a couple of weeks to get used to your new teeth.
The most common side effect from the procedure is sensitivity in your teeth for the first couple of weeks. We recommend using a toothpaste designed for sensitive teeth during this time.
Composite veneers can be completed in one visit. Depending on the number of teeth requiring veneers, it can take anywhere from one hour to a few hours. Ahead of your visit, your dentist will provide you with this information so that you can be prepared to take the necessary amount of time out of your day.
Once the case is planned porcelain veneers will take two visits across 3 to 5 days.
The first visit will see us shape your teeth ready for the veneers and take impressions for them to be created from. The second appointment will see us fit your veneers, reglaze and add finishing touches to characterise your smile to get the best result using our on site lab. This will depend on how many teeth require veneers and may take several hours.
It’s tricky to put a definitive price on veneers. The cost will depend on how many you need, the preparation work required for them, and whether you opt for porcelain veneers, which are slightly more expensive or for composite veneers, a more affordable alternative.
Composite Veneers can start from $729 per tooth with porcelain veneers costing around $1750 per tooth.
Veneers are a highly safe procedure used to improve the appearance of your smile by modifying the shape, colour or alignment of your teeth.
Veneers often require some form of minimal tooth preparation (drilling) to gain the desired aesthetic outcome. There are options available that do not involve this, however there is often a compromise between no-drilling dentistry and the cosmetic outcome. Its best to speak with one of our dentists over the available options for you so that you get the desired results from your treatment.
When seeking cosmetic treatments it is always advised to discuss the long term maintenance of your treatment and its predicted longevity – factors often overlooked which can leave you with long term dental costs.
You should maintain your veneers just as you do your natural teeth. Brush twice daily, each morning and each night, floss every night and use a mouthwash. We do recommend avoiding highly abrasive toothpastes.
Just like before you had veneers, you should be visiting your dentist regularly — about twice a year. It’s not just that we like seeing you, but it gives us the chance to ensure your dental health is great and maintain your veneers for better longevity.

Our veneers are created in an on-site lab

Your impressions don’t need to be sent off. Our in-house lab will turn your porcelain veneers around for you sooner, so you can have them placed in the next two days following your shaping procedure.
